Darwin Nunez tallied his second goal in the twenty-first minute, ultimately securing the victory. The gates gradually opened as the team coached by Marcelo Bielsa dominated every aspect of the game.
In the 76th minute, Maxi Araujo scored his third goal by slipping the ball past the Bolivian custodian, but they still needed to be finished.
Bolivia forfeited the match five minutes later when Federico Valverde, a member of Real Madrid, scored his fourth goal. However, the cherry on top was the magnificent cross from Giorgian de Arrascaeta that Rodrigo Bentancur headed home in the 89th minute.
