Dean Huijsen, a defender, has been acquired by Bournemouth for £12.6 million from
Juventus.
The center-back, currently scheduled to undergo a medical with the Cherries, may see his fee increase to £15.2m.
After Luis Sinisterra, Enes Unal, Alex Paulsen, Daniel Jebbison, and Koby Mottoh, the 19-year-old is on the brink of becoming the Premier League club's sixth summer signing.
Huijsen was born in the
Netherlands and competed internationally for their respective age categories until the Under-19 level.
He relocated to Spain at age five and acquired Spanish citizenship this year. He made his Under-21 debut in March.
Huijsen began his professional career at Costa Unida and later transferred to Malaga in 2015. He joined Juventus three years ago, initially playing for their Under-17 team.
In October, he debuted against
AC Milan, his sole appearance. Subsequently, he spent the latter half of the previous season on loan at Roma, where he appeared in 13 matches and scored twice.
