Even though the Blues' summer transfer window is far from over, they have already had a busy one. Chelsea will reveal at least two additional additions in the next few days despite having already signed Tosin Adarabioyo, Omari Kellyman, Marc Guiu, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Renato Veiga, and Estevao Willian (for 2025).
Chelsea is getting close to making a double raid for talent from the Americas, but they may try to add a third striker in the future. Aaron Anselmino and Caleb Wiley are expected to join the Blues because "everything is in place," according to The Athletic.
Aaron Anselmino, a 19-year-old center-back, is expected to leave Boca Juniors for a little over €20 million, but he will stay with the Argentine powerhouse until January. After that, a choice about his immediate future will be made; one possibility is a loan to Strasbourg.
Chelsea is close to Wiley.
Chelsea have also reached an agreement with Atlanta United to transfer Caleb Wiley. The 19-year-old will represent the United States men's national team at the Olympics in Paris and then remain in France.
Wiley will spend his debut season in Europe on loan at BlueCo affiliate Strasbourg, who expressed interest in signing the left-back in the off season.
The American is poised to join Chelsea for around €10 million, becoming the Blues' second summer signing for the left side of their defense after Veiga. However, Wiley is a much more classic full-back than the Portuguese.
Both transactions, for Anselmino and Wiley, have been in the works for some time, and the only thing that looks to be missing is the club's official announcement.
