Real Madrid's announcement that they will make another bid for Lille defender Leny Yoro has hurt Manchester United.
According to French football journalist Fabrice Hawkins, Madrid is expected to submit a revised offer soon, surpassing their earlier turned-down offer of €20 million with bonuses of €10 million.
According to Hawkins, Yoro has made it apparent that he prefers to play for Real Madrid over United and has given the European champions his top priority.
The 18-year-old, who played 44 games in all competitions and attracted interest from many teams, is the subject of a battle between the two titans. He excelled for Lille in Ligue 1 last season.

Yoro was the target of a large offer from Man Utd last week, reportedly worth more than €60 million.
Real Madrid also made a considerably smaller bid, totaling about €30 million, but Lille turned it down.
Yoro would want to play for Real Madrid. Still, Lille is reportedly trying to get the defender to go to Manchester United because the English team will pay them significantly more.
Yoro, whose contract expires in a year, is another player that PSG is interested in. Real Madrid and Manchester United have submitted formal offers for the adolescent player.
On Tuesday, Fabrizio Romano disclosed Yoro's current situation.
"The player will determine Leny Yoro's future in the coming days," Romano stated on Playback.
"The Manchester United proposal is still on the table, still exists, is still legitimate, is still acknowledged by Lille, and is still awaiting player action. Leny Yoro is pondering over his options.
Olivier Letang, the president of Lille, is putting a lot of pressure on Leny Yoro to accept Manchester United's offer because it is far higher than Real Madrid's: €50 million (£42 million) plus add-ons.
Lille is reportedly pressuring the player to join Manchester United. Real Madrid is the player's ultimate desire, but he still takes time.
Three central defenders—Jarrad Branthwaite of Everton, Yoro, and Matthijs de Ligt of Bayern Munich—are presently the subject of negotiations with United.
Additionally, they've been connected to a move to inquire about Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah.
