Even though Galatasaray's bid for Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay was rejected, they are expected to intensify their pursuit of the player.
However, Sporty360 can exclusively disclose that they have established a firm price limit for the Old Trafford veteran.
The Turkish club thinks McTominay would be an ideal addition to their midfield in anticipation of the upcoming season. However, they do not rely on Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS and have other options.
In July, Sporty360 disclosed that Galatasaray was enthusiastic about signing McTominay and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Galatasaray will be compelled to pursue a new right-back from elsewhere, as West Ham is currently "very close" to signing Wan-Bissaka.
McTominay has entered the final 12 months of his contract at Old Trafford, and Galatasaray has made a low-ball offer for the midfielder, which is estimated to be approximately €10/15 million less than the fee that Manchester United has set.
Sporty360 transfer correspondent Rudy Galetti has been informed by sources close to the Turkish club that Man Utd's proposal is an "impossible" amount for Galatasaray to pay. The club has explicitly stated that they will not exceed €15 million for the midfielder.
Gala will investigate other prominent European players if no accord is reached between Manchester United and the Turkish giants for McTominay, who has expressed interest in relocating to Turkey.
Therefore, either Manchester United reduces their transfer fee demands or abandons Galatasaray, who are unwilling to bridge the approximately €10 million disparity between the midfielder's €25 million valuation and their stated best offer of €15 million.
Galatasary also saw a joint offer of €21m for both McTominay and Wan-Bissaka, which was rejected earlier this month. However, they returned with an enhanced bid for the Scot.
