Newcastle Agrees to Sign Chelsea Star to Replace Almiron

 Miguel Almiron is reportedly in "advanced talks" regarding a departure from St James' Park, and Newcastle United are inching closer to the signing of Chelsea winger Noni Madueke.

Madueke was born in London and attended the Tottenham Hotspur academy before leaving the country to join PSV's youth divisions in July 2018. 

After graduating to the PSV first team, the right winger made 80 senior appearances for the Dutch team, scoring 20 goals and providing 14 assists.

Madueke was linked with numerous Premier League clubs, such as Chelsea, Newcastle, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, and Leeds United, following his impressive 2021-22 campaign.

In January 2023, Chelsea acquired his services for £29 million from PSV, returning England's junior international to his homeland.

Although Madueke has proven his exceptional talent numerous times while wearing a Chelsea uniform, he has never sustained a sustained period of superb performance. 

This is partially attributable to the wide man's abilities, but it is also a result of Chelsea's extensive roster of forwards.

Chelsea has been monitoring Madueke's progress since his time at PSV and is convinced he has exceptional potential.

According to journalist Wayne Veysey's latest update, Newcastle has established itself in a favorable position to acquire the left-footed star, as they have "agreed personal terms" with him and his retinue.
