Osimhen to Chelsea: Romano Confirms Strong Blues Interest

There is still a chance that Victor Osimhen will move from Napoli to Chelsea this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The football transfer news writer says that a deal is not likely to happen right now, but there is a chance that the Blues will become interested in the Nigerian player again.

PSG is now the favorite to sign Osimhen because they have agreed on personal terms. However, Napoli is asking that the 25-year-old's €130 million release clause be activated, which has put the deal at a standstill.

Romano has revealed where the striker is right now.
Romano stated, "The situation between PSG and Victor Osimhen stays the same." "We know Osimhen gave the go-ahead for us to join PSG about 10 to 15 days ago."

He's eager to join the project and is very interested in PSG.

"But PSG didn't like the terms that Napoli set." As part of the deal, one was to get Kang In-Lee, and the other was to pay Osimhen's release fee. That's not going to happen. The situation is completely still. That's the point.

Lukaku is a great player for Chelsea.

Romelu Lukaku may make or break the deal, as Napoli wants to sign the Belgium international to replace Osimhen.

Someone who used to manage Chelsea and is now in charge of the Serie A team is said to be "crazy" about the forward.

It is still Victor Osimhen's plan to leave in the summer. The idea of Osimhen could still change.

"Napoli has a clear idea: Romelu Lukaku." The boss, Antonio Conte, will do anything to have Lukaku. There has already been some touch between Conte and Lukaku; they got along great. There is a three-year deal in the works. Victor Osimhen is now in charge.

"The message is clear between Chelsea and Osimhen." Nothing will happen if the price is the release option and the salary is the same as at Napoli (€12 million). We can't rule out anything in August, even if this plan is looked at again and the deal with PSG falls through.

There is no progress or certainty, but it could still be an option, especially since Napoli and Chelsea will discuss Lukaku.
