Wolves in Peril Without Irreplaceable Neto

In the Premier League, Wolves manager Gary O'Neil has achieved a five-game unblemished streak following a hard-fought draw against Newcastle United at home.

Pedro Neto, a crucial player for Wolves, sustained a groin injury during the second half and was ultimately removed on a stretcher, even though the team had earned a well-deserved point.

Paul Robinson, a former Tottenham and England international goalkeeper, stated on BBC Radio 5 Live's Football Daily podcast that Neto's injury will be a "significant setback" for the West Midlands team:

"This season, he has been exceptional in his goals and assists." He is the conduit for all of their successful practices.

"They seek diagonals that are lengthy." No matter whether it is Hwang Hee-chan or Matheus Cunha, their initial response is to search for Neto whenever they take a pause.

On the right-hand side, he plays and cuts in. He is their most effective athlete and is essential to their success."

"The financial situation at this club was well-documented at the beginning of this season, and funds are not available to replace him in January."

"They're going to have to find another way."
