Alice Campello, the ex-wife of Spain captain Alvaro Morata, discloses the causes of their traumatic divorce following a seven-year union.

 

 Alice Campello, who was married to Alvaro Morata for seven years, has spoken publicly about their divorce.

They brought their four children together, and they all smiled as Morata led Spain to continental triumph at Euro 2024.

 Sardinia, a Mediterranean island, was the site of sightings of them kissing and snuggling on the beach after the tournament.


Morata has been photographed without his wedding ring since completing a transfer to AC Milan. At the same time, Campello has deleted any references to her ex-husband from her social media profiles following the announcement of their separation.

Now Campello has come clean about how the pressures of being a professional athlete and a dad caused them to break up.

 She told the Spanish news outlet Marca: "We are two young people; we have both been immature when it comes to managing certain situations. 

There are many children, moments of instability from one country to another." We haven't been able to handle some things between us because of our postpartum depression.

Campello has called the rumors that Morata is unfaithful "bullsh*t" and continued by saying, "We love each other infinitely, love does not end from one day to the next, we respect each other a lot and nothing will change" about her relationship with her children's father. 

I know Alvaro would sacrifice himself for me, but we both need this right now.

"After some reflection, Alice and I have decided to part ways," Morata said as they moved on from one other. A beautiful, mutually beneficial partnership characterized by love and respect.
