Ancelotti Rejects Saudi Bid for Vinicius, Previews Mbappe Debut

Carlo Ancelotti, manager of Real Madrid, has commented on rumors that the Saudis are interested in signing Brazilian striker Vinicius Junior.

It has come to light that Al-Ahli of the Saudi Pro League is interested in signing Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior.

The Saudi club is prepared to pay the Brazilian a staggering contract that would rank him as the highest-paid athlete in the world. As far as GOAL knows, Vinicius Junior has yet to reject the contract, and negotiations are ongoing between the two clubs.

While Neymar, Ronaldo, and Benzema are among the superstars enticed to Saudi Arabia, Vinicius's decision to join them in the Middle East is still in the air.

With 24 goals in the 2018–19 season, the 24-year-old was integral to Real Madrid's success, helping the club win La Liga and the Champions League.

Before Real Madrid's Super Cup final match against Atalanta, Ancelotti downplayed the transfer rumors around Vinicius.

Just nothing, he informed the press. Until the [transfer] market closes on August 31, all we can do is speculate. All that exists is conjecture.

Undoubtedly, [Vinícius] is unaffected by speculation. Here he is, and he desires to remain. In the end, he only wants to help Real Madrid.

On Wednesday, Vinicius and Kylian Mbappe, who was just signed, will likely face Atalanta. Ancelotti stated that the French star is adjusting well before his debut.

Despite having little time to train, as have all other players, Kylian has done well upon arrival.

He is adjusting nicely and has come in fine shape. Anyone in Warsaw could play tomorrow. The vibe around here is excellent for your health.

The players who have been here before, such as Dani Carvajal, Nacho Fernandez, and Luka Modric, are to thank for it.

Nobody is born a prince or a king; everyone is a player with unique skills who has contributed to the team's success.

If Vinicius wants to move to the Middle East, Al-Ahli is prepared to provide him a package worth about €1 billion (£854m/$1.1bn), but the deal's fate is still in the air.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid will play Atalanta for the first trophy of the season before facing Real Mallorca away on Sunday to begin defending their La Liga crown.
