Argentina President Condemns Attack on Messi's Home

Argentine President Javier Milei has spoken against the climate protesters who damaged Lionel Messi's fancy home.

Climate protesters from the group "Futuro Vegetal" damaged Messi's villa in Ibiza earlier this week. They said that people should "help the planet", "eat the rich", and "abolish the police".

The environmental group said they went into Messi's villa to draw attention to the world's environmental problems and say, "We need a radical change of system." But Argentina's president has strongly denied their claims, saying that they are mainly driven by communism. He has also asked Spain's government to protect the safety of the Argentine people living in Spain.

WHAT MILEI SAID
A house owned by Lionel Messi and his family was broken into by communists in Spain who want to "kill the rich and abolish the police to end climate change." Because of this cruel and crazy event,

I stand with the Messi family and ask Pedro Sanchez's government to ensure the safety of Argentines living in the Kingdom of Spain. Communism is an idea that grows out of hate, envy, and anger toward successful people. It has no place in the world of freedom and reason. "Damn it, freedom lives on!"

WHAT'S NEXT?
It's still unclear if Messi will take civil action against the people who broke into his property. For now, Inter Miami plays FC Toronto in the League Cup on Friday. However, Messi will not be there because he is still healing from an ankle injury.
