Atletico Madrid Opens Talks to Sign Kante

According to Spanish media, Atletico Madrid has begun negotiations with N'Golo Kante.

Absolute chaos has ensued in the transfer market for the Spanish giants. Atletico Madrid was going to sign Conor Gallagher, but they can't since Chelsea's deal for Samu Omorodion fell through.

Even though Chelsea and Atleti are still negotiating Joao Felix, the Gallagher deal has yet to fall through, and the England star is expected to return to London soon.

After a brief rest period, he will be compelled to train with Chelsea's U21s if his future remains uncertain upon returning from his break.

At the same time, Diego Simeone and the rest of the team are searching for possible substitutes for the 24-year-old.

Relevo claims that they have finally discovered an option, and it's a terrific one.

N'Golo Kante begins negotiations with Atleti.
According to the Spanish news source, the La Liga club has started transfer talks with N'Golo Kante's camp.

After receiving an unexpected call-up to the French national team, the Al-Ittihad and ex-Chelsea midfielder shone at Euro 2024.

He refused to rule out a return to Europe in interviews given to media outlets during the tournament.

Rumor has it that Kante is really excited about the transfer. Nevertheless, there are numerous issues. Before anything else, he's a healthy 33-year-old living the high life in Saudi Arabia.

Since he is significantly less expensive than Gallagher, signing him would be seen as a "market opportunity," but it would require him to reduce his compensation.

Another problem, as pointed out by Fabrizio Romano, is that Al-Ittihad is unwilling to part with one of its key players.

According to Relevo, the Saudi side is avoiding the spotlight because they know conversations have taken place but have yet to receive a formal offer.

Furthermore, Atleti will likely prioritize a left-footed defender above a midfielder if the Gallagher deal falls through.

Even if the Pro League transfer window closes in October, Al-Ittihad will be less willing to do business as the window nears its finish.
