Ceballos Commits: Midfielder to Stay at Real Madrid

 

According to reports, Dani Ceballos has no intention of departing Real Madrid this summer, and the Spanish and European champions are not planning to permit his departure late in the transfer window. 

This summer, speculation regarding the 28-year-old's future has been prevalent, as numerous clubs are believed to have expressed interest in the midfielder.

Nevertheless, Marca reports that Ceballos will not be on the move before the market closes, as neither the player nor the club are interested in parting ways in the coming weeks.

According to the report, the midfielder is confident that he will be routinely involved with the first team this season despite not being regarded as a starter by coach Carlo Ancelotti.

Ceballos is expected to remain at Real Madrid.
Ceballos was a late substitute in the UEFA Super Cup on Wednesday night, appearing for the final moments of Real Madrid's 2-0 victory over Atalanta BC.

The midfielder appeared in 27 matches for Los Blancos last season, scoring once and contributing two assists, including 20 games in Spain's top division.

Jude Bellingham, Federico Valverde, Aurelien Tchouameni, Luka Modric, and Eduardo Camavinga are all ahead of Ceballos in the midfield pecking order.

Nevertheless, Ceballos may have the opportunity to play in the early phases of the new La Liga campaign, as Camavinga is not expected to return until next month due to a knee injury.

Meanwhile, the Spaniard has a contract with Bernabeu until June 2027, and he has appeared in 148 matches for Los Blancos in all competitions, contributing 14 assists and netting seven goals.

Is it appropriate for Real Madrid to retain Ceballos?
Ceballos has demonstrated his reliability as a squad player for Real Madrid, and he will probably continue to see regular action in the upcoming campaign, given the high volume of matches.
