Clear Choice: Endrick Favors Bellingham to Neymar

Was the adolescent forced to choose between a teammate and a fellow citizen?

The Real Madrid player Endrick was recently asked to select between Neymar and Jude Bellingham.

But the gifted youngster didn't take long to choose his favorite athlete.

The 18-year-old Endrick made his US debut last week against AC Milan after joining the La Liga powerhouses earlier this summer.

Endrick was asked questions on two players at a time by a Brazilian reporter, and he had to choose one.

Regarding Bellingham or Neymar, he chose his Real Madrid teammate over his own countryman.

Ronaldinho eventually overthrew Bellingham and soon found himself at a fork in the path.

"Lionel Messi or Cristiano?" the reporter inquired.

"Cristiano," the Brazil international jokingly said.

Since Endrick mentioned the Portuguese superstar in a recent interview, he appears to be a big fan of his.

Earlier this year, He told the media, "Cristiano Ronaldo is my biggest idol."

"He is not just an athlete; he is a role model for everyone."

"He is humble and always wants titles and records, no matter what.

"Follow him if you want to succeed. My dream has always been to play for Real Madrid.

Eighteen months after Real Madrid announced his signing, Endrick left Palmeiras this summer for a reported £50 million.

Carlo Ancelotti will have many attacking alternatives this season, with Kylian Mbappe also arriving.

After the teenager debuted, Ancelotti told reporters, "He has shown great quality and talent, but he is like Arda [Guler] last year - you don't have to put pressure on the youngsters."

"We must exercise patience, even though he is a highly regarded player worldwide, particularly in Brazil. He possesses talent but also pressure."

"He's very fast, very dangerous in tight spaces, can turn with speed in little space, very agile in getting himself free, and all these qualities he has means he's a great talent."A player with these kinds of qualities is uncommon to find."
