The Italian was Dewsbury-Hall's coworker at Leicester the previous season and was instrumental in the Foxes' return to the Premier League.
The 25-year-old became one of the best players in the division after recording 12 goals and 14 assists in 44 Championship games.
Due to Dewsbury-Hall's performance in the previous campaign, he was traded for €35.4 million to Chelsea, and Fofana has disclosed that he was involved in the transfer.
After one season together at Leicester, the two are still good friends.
Wesley Fofana, agent
Fofana virtually confirmed the agreement by posting the number 22 with a Foxes emoji on his Instagram Story before announcing Dewsbury-Hall's transfer to Chelsea.
Fofana answered, "Yeah," when asked about this by Football. London. I work as a hidden agent, an agent!
I'm glad we spoke earlier because we played together in Leicester and he's a friend of mine. Not only do we play together. "You're crazy, man," I warned him throughout our conversation. "If you refuse Chelsea," He signed, so I'm glad.
Dewsbury-Hall, along with Filip Jorgensen, Omari Kellyman, Renato Veiga, Caleb Wiley, Marc Guiu, and Tosin Adarabioyo, are seven new players that Chelsea has signed this summer.
Goalie Mike Penders of KRC Genk is another player the Blues are interested in moving for, and defender Aaron Anselmino of Boca Juniors has already finished his physical and will be joining the team.
Fofana was injured to his ACL during the 2023–24 season, but he is now fully recovered and ready to play a significant role under Maresca.
