Maresca on Gallagher Future: Chelsea Midfielder's Exit Looms?

Enzo Maresca, the Blues' manager, has addressed the topic of Conor Gallagher's future at Stamford Bridge, which is currently the subject of much discussion.

The England midfielder has declined the Blues' new contract offer and is reportedly on the brink of a free transfer next summer.

He has been informed that he will only be a minor component of Maresca's plans.

Nevertheless, there is a potential for a transfer to Atletico Madrid. Chelsea has accepted a proposition from the Spanish club; however, whether Gallagher is amenable to this alternative is uncertain.

Chelsea manager Maresca was confronted with questions regarding the 24-year-old's future during his appearance in the United States on Friday.

The following is the complete text of his statement.

"The only thing I can confirm is that I am aware he is communicating with the club to identify a solution." A new contract was extended to him by the club.

However, this is the sole update I have received. Additionally, they know I prefer to concentrate on the resources at our disposal when we are engaged in a competitive endeavor or working together.

That is the current contest and the subsequent Real Madrid game. It is of paramount importance to me in my capacity as a manager. To concentrate on the most critical aspect, which is the intonation.

Will you permit him to train with the first team if he remains?

"At present, there is no information available regarding that matter." I can only confirm that he communicated with the institution to identify a solution.

I do not believe it is a novel concept. In football, each summer, various clubs encounter challenges with specific individuals. However, these issues are ultimately resolved, and all parties are satisfied.

I am optimistic that the same outcome will occur in this instance.

Is it possible for Gallagher to participate in your team?

"The squad consists of players who, if they are included in the squad, I will make every effort to assist them in understanding the style of play we intend to employ."

Therefore, I am not concerned at this time as long as the player is included in the squad.

"I would appreciate having all of them." The other manager will respond similarly if you pose the same query to him. The issue remains consistent.

Anything can occur until the transfer window is closed, whether to acquire or dispose of individuals. Regrettably, there is a possibility that an unforeseen event may occur until the final

Is the decision to retain or dismiss him yours, or is it the club's?

"The primary objective of the club, Conor, and myself at this time is to identify a resolution." This is the primary objective. Then, everyone is satisfied when they arrive at a solution.

However, it is challenging to determine the optimal solution until it is implemented. What is paramount to me is today's session and tomorrow's game.
