Mbappe Magic: Dream Debut Leads Real Madrid to Super Cup

Frenchman Kylian Mbappe scored a goal and won the UEFA Super Cup in his "magical" Real Madrid debut, and now he has spoken about it.

Due to his obligations at Euro 2024, the World Cup winner was given a lengthy rest, and Real Madrid did not include him in their preseason tour of the US.

The Spanish government has given Mbappe some time to acclimate to his new home since he arrived as a free agent from PSG.

His debut came in a 2-0 victory over Atalanta in a Super Cup match, and he didn't waste any time making an impression.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime, fantastic night," Mbappe told CBS Sports once the game ended. This time of night has always been a fantasy of mine, and now it's finally here. Being a part of the most fantastic club in the world is an insane thing to do.

My debut is today, and I couldn't be happier about it. We naturally took home the trophy. Because everyone has won here, winning a medal is incredibly essential.

Scoring a goal is also something I really enjoy. Being a part of my team and scoring goals is always an honor, and I'd like to keep it up throughout the season so I can be of more service.

Mbappe claims he never expected to play among superstars like Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham, and he has become the latest "Galactico" at Madrid.

Their greatness as players makes it simple to play with them, as does the greatness of the entire team, according to the France international.

Because we have the most significant players here at Real Madrid, this club is the best in the world. Playing with Vinicius, Rodrygo, Bellingham, and the other guys is a delight.

The 2024–25 La Liga season is almost here, and Real Madrid is getting set to go.

On Sunday, they will travel to Real Mallorca to begin defending their domestic title; with Mbappe now wholly committed to the Blancos, he will also aim for a Champions League triumph.
