Real Madrid Eyeing Manchester United Star for Next Summer

 

Reports say that Real Madrid will try to sign Diogo Dalot, a defender for Manchester United, during the summer transfer window next year. 

Reports say Real Madrid is preparing to sign a new player to replace Dani Carvajal in 2025. The 32-year-old's deal at the Bernabeu is set to expire at the end of the current season.

As for Real Madrid, they are said to be making plans to bring in a long-term replacement for Carvajal, who is expected to sign a new contract.

GiveMeSport says that Carlo Ancelotti's team wants Dalot the most in that area of the field. This means that Man United will have to fight hard to keep the Portugal international.

But when it comes to Dalot's future, the Red Devils are in a good spot because the young player from Porto signed a new deal at Old Trafford in May 2023. His current deal runs until June 2028.

Real Madrid "see Dalot as a possible replacement for Carvajal." 

On the other hand, Real Madrid is hard to turn down, and Dalot's performances are said to have pleased the club's recruitment and scouting team.

Reports say that Real Madrid sees Dalot as the best long-term alternative for Carvajal and are sure they can get the Portuguese player to move to Bernabeu.

Dalot moved to Manchester United from Porto in July 2018. He has played 157 times for the Red Devils in all competitions, hitting six goals and setting up ten others.

The defender initially had difficulty getting into the starting lineup for Manchester United and spent the 2020–21 season on loan at AC Milan. But in the last few seasons, he has become even better.

Would it be okay for Man United to lose Dalot?
Dalot was named the 2023–24 Man United Players' Player of the Year, which wasn't surprising. He played very well all season.

The defender played 50 games across all competitions, scored three goals, and set up five others. He was easily one of the team's best players during a tough season.

On Saturday, Dalot played the whole game in the Community Shield and scored in the shootout, which Erik ten Hag's team lost 7-6 to Manchester City.

Man United will announce that Noussair Mazraoui is coming from Bayern Munich next week to improve their right-back position. However, the English club can't afford to lose Dalot because of his good and good behavior.
