Ten Hag: United Awaits Right Time for New Midfielder

Erik ten Hag suggested that Manchester United will make additional acquisitions during the current summer transfer window.

Leny Yoro, a youthful defender from Lille, and Joshua Zirkzee, a Dutch attacker from Bologna, are the two transfers the Red Devils finalized during the ongoing summer transfer window.

Nevertheless, manager Ten Hag proposed that the club could make additional acquisitions during the remaining window.

Scott McTominay and Casemiro, two United midfielders, have been speculated to be considering departures from Old Trafford this summer.

The Scotland international is expected to join Fulham.

Manuel Ugarte of Paris Saint-Germain and Sander Berge of Burnley are among the players with whom the Premier League is anticipated to sign shortly, particularly in the midfield.

The 54-year-old told reporters, "We will disclose information as soon as it becomes available." We have completed two transactions, even though the market remains relatively calm. It is about the market options and the timetable, and it is about ensuring that we take the appropriate action at the appropriate time.

He stated, "I do not provide specifics regarding our current recruitment status or the projects we are working on."

We know our actions and are in a favorable position with the squad. Just wait, be patient, and we will inform you appropriately.

Despite an injury crisis in the squad, Ten Hag and his team are preparing to play their first competitive match of the 2024-25 season on Saturday against Manchester City's rivals in the Community Shield.
