Tottenham Striker Transfer Complete, Romano Confirms Double Deal Day

Tottenham has agreed to buy a striker, which opens the door for a much bigger deal. A transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, stated that Tottenham will make another move today.

Tottenham is looking for a substantial new player to play at No. 9. In fact, boss Ange Postecoglou told Football London not long ago that they want a new frontman.

“That's still the part of the park where we have the fewest players right now, so that's obviously something we want to work on.” The Spurs manager said.

Last season, Son Heung-min and Richarlison were the top choices for the center striker position. Richarlison had some good and bad games, but Son's favorite spot is still cutting inside from the left wing.

Postecoglou said there are few choices right now, and the club's most recent agreement means they will have to sign a ready-made striker.

Alejo Veliz, a back-up striker, will go on loan to Espanyol, according to both Fabrizio Romano and trusted sources in Spain.

The 20-year-old Argentine has already arrived in Barcelona, where Espanyol is based, and the deal is now "closed."

The loss of Veliz makes room for a striker to come in.

Spurs are letting a backup striker leave, which is another clear sign that they will sign a new target. Veliz will spend the 2024–25 season on loan at Espanyol.

Recently, there have been rumors about Dominic Solanke, Ivan Toney, and Jonathan David. Sporty360 has learned that Spurs are ready to put Solanke on the fast track.

Tottenham has no plans to pay Solanke's £65 million release clause. We've been told that a £50 million offer with a player as a "makeweight" has been discussed instead.

Talks have already taken place between Tottenham and Solanke's side. He is thought to want to move.

Another Tottenham player is almost out of the club. Another player should be out today after Veliz's move to Espanyol.

Emerson Royal signed personal terms with AC Milan a month ago, and today (Wednesday), the teams will talk about the transfer fee and how the money will be paid.

It is believed that a deal will be reached on a fee of around €15 million before any add-ons.

Romano gave a new report on Emerson on X after hearing about Veliz's move: "Tottenham are signing all the papers for Alejo Veliz to join Espanyol on loan."

"NO clause to buy included." Going back to Spurs in June.

"Next step: get in touch with AC Milan directly to finalize the deal for Emerson Royal for €15 million plus add-ons. Almost there."
