When asked about playing with Kylian Mbappe, the new player for Real Madrid, Vinicius Junior said it would be "brutal" and said it would be "difficult" to compare him to Jude Bellingham.
After leaving PSG, Mbappe signed with Real Madrid.
To play with him, Vinicius says it will be "brutal."
Thinks he'll get used to it as quickly as Bellingham
After leaving Paris Saint-Germain earlier this summer, Mbappe finally made his long-awaited move to Real Madrid. The 25-year-old is now getting ready to make his first-team start.
Vinicius, a Brazilian striker, has promised to "take care" of Mbappe to help him get used to his new team.
He says it can be "difficult" to start off quickly with a new team but praises Jude Bellingham, who joined in 2023.
"Having the Frenchman as a partner is going to be brutal," he told Real Madrid TV. "I hope we can do great things."
He also said, "We need to take care of him and do everything we can to help him get used to things as quickly as possible."
It's always hard to join a new team, but Jude Bellingham did it for us last season and has done great since then. We hope to do it again with Kylian [Mbappe]."
After moving from Borussia Dortmund to Real Madrid, Bellingham was a surprise.
He scored 23 goals and set up 13 others as Real won La Liga and the Champions League. With Mbappe, Vinicius, and Rodrygo up front, Real may have the most dangerous front line in football.
Next Wednesday, Madrid plays Atalanta, the winner of the Europa League, in the UEFA Super Cup. On Sunday, August 18, they start their league season away at Mallorca.
After the summer break, Mbappe might have a chance to shine in both games.
