Wan-Bissaka Takes Swipe at United in West Ham Move

It looked like Aaron Wan-Bissaka gave Manchester United a barely concealed farewell shot after his final move to West Ham.

The right-back signed a £15m ($19m) deal with the Hammers on Tuesday, ending his five-year time at Old Trafford. He said that the Hammers' team was more united than United's.

The 26-year-old told West Ham's website, "It was a no-brainer for me to join. I'm excited and happy to be here." "I can't wait to play, get to know the other players, and keep going."

I see a group of people who are all in it together, who will push each other to win, and who have each other's backs through good times and bad. Being a part of that and knowing that helps a lot when you are with a good squad.

Wan-Bissaka is leaving United after an average time with the team. He was hailed as England's next great right-back when he signed for £50m ($64m) from Crystal Palace in 2019.

But it was quickly clear that he wasn't good at going forward, and Diogo Dalot finally took his place on the team.

During his last three years with United, Wan-Bissaka started less than half of their Premier League games. He leaves with two medals: the FA Cup 2024 and the Carabao Cup 2023.

United will say they have signed Morocco right back Noussair Mazraoui from Bayern Munich for a starting fee of £13m ($17m), which could go up to £17m ($22m) in add-ons.

Along with Mazraoui, Matthijs de Ligt also joins. Both of them used to play for Ajax under Erik ten Hag.
