West Ham Steals Todibo From Juventus

West Ham is trying to mess up Juventus' plan to sign Nice defender Jean-Clair Todibo.

The East London team has moved to get Todibo from Juventus. For weeks, Juventus has been trying to make a deal with Nice.

Fabrizio Romano says West Ham made the deal late last night and paid €40 million (£34 million/$44 million) for the 24-year-old.

The Hammers hope to have all the paperwork done by Friday night to schedule Todibo's medical as soon as possible.

West Ham wants to give their new head coach, Julen Lopetegui, the tools he needs to compete on all fronts, so they would love to steal Todibo from Juventus.

Along with Max Kilman, Crysencio Summerville, and Niclas Fullkrug, the defender would be added to a perfect Hammers transfer window.

France has already given Todibo two caps, and he played 33 times for Nice in all categories last season. He has only scored two goals in 136 games for the club, but he is a rock at the back.

He was a big reason the league kept 15 clean sheets from 2023 to 2024.

Earlier reports said that Todibo only ever wanted to move to Juventus. However, West Ham's participation could make things different.

The Hammers and Nice have agreed on a price, but they still need the player to agree to move to the Premier League.
